It’s time for another workshop! On May 28th I’ll be teaching a workshop on how to make needle-felted pears at the Beehive Wool Shop. The shape is not too difficult, so we should be able to spend a little extra time layering fibres to produce shading. Pears have so many amazing colours and shapes – I’m really looking forward to this class! Space is limited, so contact the Beehive Wool Shop to reserve a spot.

On November 14th (I can’t believe a week has gone by already!) I taught a class at the Beehive Wool Shop on needle felted snowmen. We had a lot of fun, many laughs, and some very pleasing snowmen were created.

My first flower workshop has been completed – another coming up on April 18 (see the Classes page for more information). I think everyone had a lot of fun in class this morning. I’m always so pleased to see how different everyone’s final project is… each flower was unique. Everyone made a beautiful and whimsical creation. I find it very inspiring… thanks all!

Or at least it’s trying to… the rains are starting to bring out some lovely flowers. I was so excited to see cherry blossoms the other day – one of my favourites. Today was the first of two Christmas ornament workshops (still room in the second workshop on December 13th – see the Classes page for more details) – it was a lot of fun… a great bunch of students making some pretty fabulous ornaments!

Last night, after I had put together all the material for the class, I decided to make one last ornament. Smudge decided she had been ignored and shooed away quite enough, so she decided to “help”. Sigh…
