‘Tis the season of craft sales… what fun! I went to two this weekend – they were overwhelming, but I picked up several wee gifties and stocking stuffers. I did find a little treat for myself as well… odd how that seems to happen! This is my lovely new ornament/all year around piece of fabulousness… a twisty tree!
The artist is Sharen Johnston of Glass Quirks. I had seen her work before and loved it… I’m glad to have a piece of my own! There is a tree on both sides of the disc, so when the light shines through, there is a real feeling of depth. She had a selection of colours and sizes, but deep red… one of my favourites… Yummy!

FABULOUS Dee – – yes, you are . . . . am also meaning WOW, you got a fabulous new ornament and it even is named for you.
Thank you for sharing with us – – really enjoying your website. Cheers, J.
Thanks Janey – I’m having fun!!
That’s gorgeous – and so perfect for your new blog! 🙂
Now I just need to figure out where to hang it so it catches the light, but not the attention of evil little paws 🙂
I just found your email to me about the tree, and see how you hung it. Thank you for purchasing it. It looks like it fits right in! When you have time, get back to me, and I will send you pictures of my new twisty trees! There is a custom one that I made out of glass that looks like a red sunset, which you will love to look at. I am in the process of dismantling my sharenjohnston.com website, and putting up a new one, so I have given you the etsy address instead.
I’ll definitely take a look at them… I do love your work! Thanks for the response
